How the analysis is built.
Trust Score. The Trust Score is a transparency signal, not a prediction. It weighs fresh relevant coverage, source diversity, catalyst consistency, price-move magnitude and relative-volume context. Higher scores mean the explanation has more corroborating public evidence; lower scores mean the move is more ambiguous.
Fundamentals. Revenue growth, EPS, profit margin, ROE, debt-to-equity, free cash flow, dividend payout and book value are displayed only when a configured server-side data provider supplies the necessary inputs. Missing values are shown as unavailable rather than estimated.
Technicals. RSI uses a 14-session lookback. Moving averages show 20-, 50- and 200-session simple averages. MACD uses 12/26 exponential averages with a 9-session signal line. Bollinger Bands use a 20-session mean and two standard deviations. The morning-star detector looks for a recent three-candle bullish reversal pattern. Support and resistance are descriptive levels from the recent 20-session low/high range.
Analysts and social discussion. Analyst counts and targets are shown only when the fundamentals provider supplies them. Social discussion surfaces recent public posts and engagement counts; popularity or sentiment should not be interpreted as factual validation.
Macro, sector and global context. Broad-market proxies, volatility, Treasury yield, crude oil, sector benchmarks and fresh macro/global headlines are shown as context. Coincident moves do not establish causation.
Data timing. Market data and third-party feeds may be delayed depending on source, exchange rules and licensing. News refreshes according to the available source cadence. UpToDateStocks is informational only and does not provide investment, legal or tax advice.
